As I thought, State Farm isnt writing new policies in California now, but Leanne offered to email me contact information for three local insurance agents who would be able to help and she did so immediately. The agents she referred me to were able to answer my questions and now I am started in the process. I was really impressed to get a list of referrals without even asking instead of just telling me that they couldnt help.
