My story is simple...while starting my career in NYC in 1993 I purchased a very special and sentimental 3ct ring that I had for 14 years before it was stolen in November 2007 by an Australian friend. Since then Ive wanted to replace this special ring but never met the right person to have it done until my path lead me to Mervyn Hahn at the Los Angeles Diamond Factory. Immediately when I met Mervyn in person after several messages via phone and texts felt that he was the one. His soul was right there in front of me...in his eyes...his voice. I mean this human is GOOD! He was kind, patient and listened to my story about why I wanted to buy this new ring, sincerely. He introduced me to his designer who makes all custom designs, Razzouk Wardeh (at R.W. Design & have a 17-year history together) who again struck me like a Lightning Bolt upon meeting him in person. These 2 gentlemen have a unique force & power about them that transfers and SHOWS THROUGH IN THEIR WORK! Mervyn & Razzouk had me sit in on the beginning stages of the computer design phase of recreating my stolen ring. Both men gave their expert opinions on the design and yet allowed me to keep certain key features from the last design and merge them into the new piece. When I came to pick up the finished ring...what I saw in tangible form...in hard matter 3 dimensional form in my hands was all of the goodness...the kindness, the sincere love that one stranger can transfer to another in the most subtle but powerful way that Ive read only Masters of Chi Gong and the esoteric realm know how to do. Mervyn and Razzouk were masters in encompassing all of their powerful spirit energy and sincere love of what they do in their business into my newly designed 4ct ring...this ring is a manifestation of their love of what they do, and their Soulular Uniqueness & Beauty shaped & created into a physical form!! They were over 5 days ahead of their scheduled finished date. Everything they said they would do was DONE! The result as you will see in these photos are nothing short of Amazing and Phenomenal. My husband and I got our wedding bands and my engagement ring there and we had an amazing experience. They helped us figure out what we wanted and they created rings that truly represent us. 5 /5 Sherelle Villacorta: After hours of online searching and visiting multiple jewelers in the OC and DTLA we stumbled upon LA Diamond Factory right before they closed on a Saturday (and Mervyn and Glenda were STILL willing to help us out). After getting quotes on some diamonds they had in stock it was made very clear to me that LA Diamond Factory had the most competitive prices from all the different stores we visited locally and online (Rarecarat, James Allen, etc.). At the time we visited Mervyn didn’t have the specific specs I was looking for but assured me that he could source if I gave him a heads up next time. We set an appointment the following week and that was that! I provided a couple pictures of what I wanted in the setting and he knocked it out of the park. For custom engagement rings other stores were quoting a lead time of 8 weeks (especially during COVID) but Mervyn was able to create my dream custom engagement ring in under 4 weeks. During this process my now fiancé let me know that Mervyn and Glenda were extremely communicative of the status of production. Don’t let their name fool you! They can do jewelry for all gemstones, not just diamonds. The same day we ordered my engagement ring, I was able to order a custom ring for my mom’s 60th birthday which features birthstones from her 3 children. Glenda and Mervyn were extremely accommodating and overnighted the ring so that I could have it on time for my mom’s birthday party. Thank you Mervyn and Glenda for helping us with very sentimental projects. The workmanship and quality is amazing. 110% would recommend LA Diamond Factory for all of your jewelry needs.
