When you do business with a law firm you expect certain qualities from them; competence, expertness, knowledge, skill and professionalism. I received all of these qualities plus a few others that are not listed or expected. Those qualities are; listening, patience, caring, thoughtful, understanding, sympathetic and supportive. These qualities separates the Lederman Law Firm from other firms. When I was little down about my divorce the lawyers and support staff who helped me showed these qualities and made the whole divorce process more tolerable. 5 /5 Paddy Kehoe: Integrity, professionalism and honesty are the words that describe David Lederman and his staff. It is very difficult to pick a divorce attorney and you never really know until you get to the end, I could not have been more pleased with my choice. I had to fire my first attorney and then hired David Lederman after a lot of interviewing. David is non emotional, organized, smart and very well respected in the family law profession. My divorce had dragged on for way too long and it would have been a lot better to have hired David day one. I could not say enough good things and he brought a timely end to a very difficult divorce. I should also say that his fees were reasonable for the work he put in and I think that this is rare in attorney world.

His focus was always on protecting the interests of my family while preparing the best case possible for a favorable outcome, which we achieved. David’s no-nonsense style, knowledge of the law and the system were invaluable. I would highly recommend David to anyone who is looking for the ultimate professional who provides sound legal advice.

2 /5 J: Two stars because I think David is a very capable attorney, but unfortunately found his conduct on my case particularly lazy and disorganized. This severely impacted my young daughter whom I was seeking David’s help in protecting from ongoing physical abuse. I did not appear to me that David intended to perform poorly, he just did not appear to apply himself. David did not appear to have paid attention to my case and I suddenly started receiving automated vacation replies to my emails right before my hearing. I ended up being represented remotely by someone I had never met and was completely unfamiliar with my case. This person told me that they were trying to reach David on vacation but were unsuccessful. I was also billed for work that was not completed per attached, and creatively billed multiple times for exchanging the same information via multiple avenues. David charges something like $625 an hour for “reading” emails and then again when repeating the same information on the phone. My daughter’s life situation was made far worse by David’s involvement, despite paying him something like $20K in 3 months to help.
