1 /5 Shaikh Rasheed Uddin: I hired David Rick Nelson to represent in two different serious legal matters, one is un legit Juvenile Wardship Petition in Placer County without any evidences by Deputy District Attorney. I was expecting a professional who would protect the interest and welfare of a minor, Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. I have reason to believe that this attorney was compromised and aligned with the opposing side specifically the complainant and the Deputy District Attorney Darren Dodd. Throughout the case, I observed troubling behavior that raised serious concerns about loyalty and ethics. Important evidence that could have helped my case was ignored, and communication was minimal and evasive. There were also unexplained meetings with the Deputy District Attorney, which I was never informed about. These actions left me feeling unprotected and betrayed, especially as the outcome of the case was clearly affected, the judge assigned to the case had a prior professional relationship with the Deputy District Attorney who filed this un legit petition as they worked in the same office for many years. This clear conflict of interest was never addressed, and I believe it affected the outcome of the case. Despite this, the judge did not recuse herself, and the defended was ultimately convicted with out any trial. Throughout the court proceedings, it seemed that defense was not handled with independence or diligence. Key opportunities to challenge the prosecution’s case were ignored, it felt like we were not being defended, but instead pushed through a predetermined outcome. I have since filed formal complaints in California State Bar against this dishonest attorney and am seeking review of the entire process. I cannot in good faith recommend this attorney to anyone in need of loyal and ethical legal representation. I cannot recommend to anyone seeking honest legal representation. I strongly advise others to research carefully and consider alternative counsel.
