5 /5 Lisa Loh: I have an old automatic watch that runs fast and has a broken clasp that needs fixing/overhauled. Dan, in consultation with the watch maker, provided an estimate which was more expensive than what I could afford; more than buying a new watch. Alas, watch-making is a dying art and requires special skill so the cost is understandable. Appreciated Dans knowledge, patience and friendliness and will definitely return for other watch-related needs.

I found him to be courteous and honest. He was very respectful of what I brought to him whether he was interested or not. Dan is extremely knowledgable and explains without his ego being involved. I felt he gave me the best price for my items. Dan is an excellent communicator and I enjoyed our conversation and business interaction.

I had a few pieces of gold jewelry that I never wore and were just sitting in a drawer for years so I decided…why not see about selling them? I tried a place in San Mateo that offered me practically nothing for pieces that I knew were worth way more than they offered. Luckily, a friend of mine suggested that I try Jackson Square and OMG I’m so beyond glad that I did. Not only did Dan offer me almost 5 times what the other place did, but he took the time to explain the process and show me how he tests the gold, etc…which I loved! Dan is incredibly kind, professional and obviously very passionate about what he does, and it shows! This is now my go to jeweler for anything I may need in the future. I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!

5 /5 Danielle Duncan: The owner Dan is a really cool guy. When I was a very young child my dad would metal detect and bring his finding to Jackson arms. So I’ve been going there since I was a child . I am 34 now and I still love Dan. He recently offered me around 20% more than the pawn on veterans down the road. I stop in sometimes and ask his opinion on different pieces I want to buy or sell. He’s an honest guy that gives comfort in dealing with him. He’s fair and cheerful. I go in and get my jewelry cleaned and my rings sometimes get bent and he rounds them out no problem with his tool. The thing I like most about him and his shop is the good vibes I get when I walk in. I know he will take care of me properly.

5 /5 Daniel Obrien: I buy and sell precious metals mostly from yard sales and estate sales. The jeweler that I used for many years was John at white dove jewelers in San Mateo . When he retired, I asked him for a recomendation for whom to carry on my endeavors. Right away he said "Dan at Jackson Square Fine Jewelers. He will give you just as honest prices as Ive given you". Thus Ive been dealing with him for 5-6 yrs now and honestly , I would have to say that Dan gives me the best prices whether Im buying or selling. Plus Dan is a plethora of information that sometimes works better in my favor in our dealings.Dan is an honest and great business man and Ive recommended him to many people that are totally satisfied with the outcomes of their dealings.
