1 /5 Jessica Roberts: Did business here for five years, after gross miscommunication recently on their end, and becoming hard to reach they refused to make things right. They left me days to hire a new broker, in California you can now face penalties not having insurance. They would not even tell me if my plan is going to lapse or continue. This is all after having to deal with horrible phone calls with them acting irritated. They had the audacity to call ME abusive to their staff for trying to communicate my frustration.
I have never experienced this from a business in my life. I am an understanding person and always try to give others the benefit of the doubt. I never by any means acted abusive...
First, they told me a couple of my employees were not a valid waive on my group plan. I explained over and over that they were and valid waive. They told me maybe I should look at individual coverage, that I will loose my group plan. I wasted hours looking at individual plans when my group plan was ELIGIBLE the entire time... My employees WERE valid waives the whole time...
I told them, I preferred their old method of doing business where they actually took phone calls easily and made in person meetings to make changes. This seemed to irritate them to no end... Instead they do almost nothing but emails which they were constantly misunderstanding and if any misunderstanding happened and they made 4-5 huge mistakes it was blamed on me!
This is a joke, I have owned a business 14yrs and see thousands of people every year. All they had to do was listen to my concerns correct the issues and I would have stayed potentially for years. You dont ever blame a client when your quality of service drops and you make mistakes.
To top it off I asked numerous times for the owners who never were put on the phone..... I now have their direct contact info, voice messages will be left Monday, if there is no response we are going to the better business bureau and the licensing board.
I wanted the owner to fix things with me, to AVOID writing a scathing review to warn others. I hate doing this to a small business but this was so bad, I dont want anyone else to go through what I did. Then be left with a potential illegal lapse in their insurance when they have 3 small children!!!
Do not use them be warned. I am so happy they dont have my business anymore I should have left the minute they were rude.
