Elmco has helped me in finding good insurance policies for my 3 residential properties (sold one in 2022) and in dealing with the insurers to control my insurance costs. So naturally I think Elmco is good, and thats the reason why Ive stayed with it for many many years.
But one incident happened more than a couple months ago makes me think that Elmco is not only good, it is excellent. The insurer of my main residence sent me a letter saying they are not going to renew the homeowners insurance policy, citing a reason that Ive never heard of during my 46 years as a homeowner. Even a few days before I received that letter, Mr. Shane Schneider, an Elmco agent, had informed me about the insurers nonrenewal decision. He then spent lots of time and efforts in a period of several days to help and guide me in communicating with the insurer, to take and send them pictures addressing their concerns, and to convince them to reverse their nonrenewal decision. A few days ago, the insurer agreed to renew my policy, and that took a huge load off my shoulders!
Given current property insurance market conditions in California, which make it very difficult to many homeowners, I think Mr. Shane Schneiders services for me are outstanding, and Elmco as his employer is an excellent company. Excellent companies always have workforces with people as good as, or nearly as good as Mr. Shane Schneider.
