Jayce Walker I have 2 business accounts here, great friendly service on a first name basis with much clearer and better organized statements than any bank Ive used. They are networked with a solid payroll company and helped me get my payroll handled efficiently and hassle free. I prefer to use a regional bank that doesnt invest in derivatives (or pipelines or set up phony accounts) like the big national banks do and have done. I prefer a more local community conscious approach to banking. I did my research on regional banks and how they operate, how safe etc. Umpqua came out on top...and my day to day experience with them has been a great!

1st Northern California Credit Union - Richmond

Benjamin Mertz Yes, it lacks some of the conveniences of big banks. But since its a credit union, I know my money is being re-invested into my community instead of the pockets of billionaire CEOs and the prison industrial complex. Investing your money in a credit union is a moral decision that directly helps ordinary people and organizations in your local community. Im proud to be a resident of Richmond and proud to have my money in a local credit union. Also the owner at this local branch is a cool dude.

Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) - Richmond

Janae M Updated 4/4/19- I must say over the past 2 years B of A has definitely stepped up their game in the business banking. I waited so long to update my review to see if this was just a fluke or if this would last, and it has been smooth sailings for a while now; Im very pleased with how theyve handled the situation. First review- Our company has been banking with B of A for over 17 years and for the last 7 1/2 years Im responsible for making deposits here at the bank. For the last 3 years its been pure hell at their business banking here. At first they couldnt figure out what they wanted their business banking hours to be, and so it changed every other week for about 3 months. Only 2 tellers work the normal line so the teller has to bounce back and forth between the regular line and the business banking line. They have at least 3-4 people that work in the new business which makes no sense to me because they obviously cant deal with the customers they already have. After asking twice I finally received the Branch Manager number and I called him over 2 weeks ago and still havent received a response back. His name is Alex Merino and this is a horrible way to treat a customer that has called and expressed their concern about a business you operate. Bank of America needs to do better and we are currently exploring other options since the Branch Manager cant take the time out to call us back.
