After visiting many other locations around LA from Hawthorne to Beverly Hills, Cash For Gold In Santa Monica beats out everyone. I had a multitude of different types of gold items that I either wanted to get priced or sell. Each store I went to left me feeling frustrated and ripped off. Either they wanted me to sell everything as a unit price or just offer less than 10% of what the scrap cost of the price of gold was. Basically thinking I didnt do any research on how much gold was worth.
Not to waste more time I decided to just call the next store I was thinking on going to and see exactly what the buying process was. Scott answered at Cash for Gold in Santa Monica and he was so kind and attentive on the phone! He listened to my needs and offered to provide me with an examination of each gold item I had with no pressure to sell any of them.
The store itself is beautiful and located in a great easy to park part of Santa Monica. Bring quarters for the meters and you can park right up front. Even though he was with a customer, he greeted me as I entered and I waited for him to finish in his upscale waiting room.
He took his time with me and valued all the pieces I bought. He examined and provided generous pricing for each one of my items. I felt empowered to sell what I wanted to at a great price and felt no pressure to hold onto other items I wanted to keep.
