Having always been able to handle decisions and be proactive, I was very surprised at my inability to focus and the brain-fog from these injuries while healing. You are not just dealing with your auto insurance, but also with health insurance and, in my case, Medicare (very complicated), car-impoundment, bids on loss, doctor appointments, etc. all while suffering pain and trying to heal.
