1 /5 Seattle M: I had a very poor experience today at my appointment. The first issue was that they asked me to arrive 15 minutes early, which I did-and then didn’t see me until almost 40 minutes later. My worker was Kim Tran. Like someone mentioned below she was EXTREMELY unfriendly. Didn’t say a word to me the entire appointment except to ask what grade my sons are in and to ask me to sign papers. It was a full 20 minutes or so of awkward silence. She seems miserable and like she absolutely hates her job and the people she has to deal with every day. What I’m really upset about though is that I KNOW she didn’t process my application properly and I know that she gave me WAY LESS money than I’m qualified for. I come every year so I know how much I qualify for. And my income this year is actually less than normal. I usually get well over a $1000 in energy assistance. This year she gave me $300! I have never gotten that little in all the years I have been coming. I honestly wouldn’t have even applied if I knew it’d be that little. It’s not worth taking time off to come for $300. I see others in the reviews have complained about the same things. To management-if one person complains you can take it with a grain of salt but if multiple people complain about the same employee-there’s probably an issue there.
