2 /5 Awesome Adria: Not happy with the service I have been receiving from State Farm. The communications via mail are very behind and not well written. For the first time, they raised my insurance premium but did not notify me of the change until a month later! I have filed two claims from them and both were more headache than they were worth. The first claim seemed to be going smoothly until I went to an auto shop that they go through (Gerber) and the service was crap. I was told they may or may not repair depending on whether their workers think it is worth it. After months went by the company never matched the assignment so they could do the work. After two failed attempts with Auto Shops, State Farm took care of that estimate. I filed a claim for my other vehicle which I was under the impression was stolen while in someone elses possession. Within 24 hours of the claim I spoke to a representative named Jake and he said he would try to get ahold of the person I left the vehicle with to sort out my claim and that he would try for 48 hours. Then the next day I spoke to Dana a claims investigator. She wanted call logs from my current phone and a phone I dont use, screenshots with date and time stamps, and the most recent pictures of the inside and outside of my car. No reason why, and no explanation of how it will help. Sounds like she was collecting information to sell since she wanted a months worth of call logs when the incident took place on 12/23/23. She admitted to finding damage to the car on more than one occasion and her issue was that it may have been sitting outside for years. She even said I had no police report so I provided the first agent with the police report number and officer badge number. Then she apologized because she had the wrong information. She finally understood my situation and seemed to be trying to work with me to figure it out. After talking to the other party she said it was more of a civil matter and was not considered a loss. My vehicle was gutted out on the inside and inoperable. I didnt leave my car in that condition. She denied the claim and told me that my car was in the auction place. The auction place has been rude and very unhelpful. The lady said it was abandoned even though it was not. She then said I have to pick it up by May 9, 2024, or its considered abandoned but I was told May 18, 2024, or I would be held liable for any expenses. The place where they left my car (IAA) No one wants to help tow it off because they seem to be a headache for tow places to deal with. So basically I paid insurance on a vehicle for nothing and I will most likely be liable for any other expenses plus lose my vehicle. Wish I never contacted them for assistance. I definitely, will look into taking my business elsewhere.
