ORIGINAL: Spoke with someone I purchased a policy from Freeway Insurance via National General. One of the requirements was to produce proof of insurance for the past six months. After spending over an hour on the phone at the time of policy purchase, and having to email the proof a few times, I thought I was all set.
Fast forward a few weeks and I received an updated billing schedule from National General with an increase of almost $90 per month due to the fact that I did not provide the proof of prior insurance that I did when I purchased the policy. When I reached out to Freeway, I find out that it was short a few weeks, so I sent in the previous insurance as well that covered the prior six months. I have yet to have follow up to ensure that what I sent meets the requirements, and this lack of service has me second guessing working with this agency. This price increase has my insurance payment MORE than my car payment, and the lack of service leaves something to be desired.
