I am always prepared with what I want going in and they always take their delivery a step further to accomplish my goals. Most recently, I needed to utilize shared branching for a large transaction and experienced some issues on the receiving CUs end. After a few phone calls and another trip back to CFCU, I got ahold of Margaret, from the Westbow branch. I tell you, Margaret was an absolute gem and really went the extra 10 miles to deliver. She spent the entire day on the phone with the other credit union, mind you to resolve their issue, so my funds could make it where they were intended. She remained in contact with me and continued to provide timely status updates; truly making me feel like a valued member all throughout the process. I had gone to a few different credit unions and they told me that even though I make good money and have a good credit score, it would be hard for me to get the loan I wanted. Nelson at self help made my dreams possible and at a decent rate. The atmosphere was nice, so were the people. She shopped around to several carriers to “insure” (pun intended) that we got the very best rate possible. She also made sure that we weren’t paying for any options that we don’t need.
