1 /5 Jane Alexander: Took my money and didnt even fill out paperwork correctly. Was a no show, no call. Gaslights you when you ask repeatedly for paperwork to do my job. Hasnt returned original papers since fired. No reply. Needs to be charged with misconduct.

5 /5 Josh Smith: Eric is a good person. Above all, I have noted this about him. He is very down to earth. Our interactions were always friendly, and he spoke to me as a human. I consulted several attorneys before Eric and I met, each one treated me poorly, and belittled me after hearing my story. Eric listened, and I immediately felt that he wanted to help me. In a time when I was at my lowest, this man gave me the glimmer of hope I needed to go on. I will never be able to thank him enough.

1 /5 S V: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Made several appointments with Eric . Never showed up to any!? Should you trust an attorney with your case if they cant keep a simple calendar? Absolutely the dumbest worse move an attorney could make is to ruin their word. And this is AFTER I spoke with him about his history (no secret in google and Shelton newspaper)and discussed giving him a chance. Still failed to follow through on simple tasks. Only ABSOLUTE FLAKES dont show any responsibility.

1 /5 Decker Brandy (Http://BrandyDecker.Rocks): Very rude, and self absorbed. If you read more on avvo he almost lost his liscence in NY. He doesn’t like women, and I could tell just from our conversation because all he could shout was how much stress it would put on him and he would take no less than 3k retainer. Asked me if I wanted to barter with him, like it was a game, when it was a very emotional reach to put a price on my daughters case. Over all, if your a female.. I wouldn’t waste the call or money for sure.

1 /5 Chuck Olson: WARNING do not make the mistake I made and give his representation a chance. I read his reviews and against my better judgment got fooled by talking to him over the phone and hiring him during a challenging period in my life. It was a disaster from the get go. His incompetence was a disgrace and embarrassment to me in my case. He failed to ensure the court received signed documents I promptly turned in to him, which the court didnt acknowledge at the hearing and resulted in a whole lot of wasted time and expense.He didnt share very pertinent information from opposing counsel regarding a parenting plan which was beneficial to both of us in the case through the holidays. This resulted in the Judge having to make a decision that restricted my time with the children even more. He had the audacity to text me after court and say that we won the day in court! Instead of working with opposing counsel all he did was fight/argue/threaten which made it impossible to make any progress with my case. He works primarily from his phone, doesnt have the forms you will need for your case and in my case I dont think he even read my emails. He is all over the place! I had enough and terminated his services after giving him too many chances to turn things around. This is when the situation became extremely volatile. He resorted to constantly threatening me via text and email. Threats against my work through the military, name calling and the list goes on. His professionalism as my former attorney and as a person is a disgrace. Approximately 10 days after termination he sent me a ridiculous invoice. Within 12 hours of receiving invoice he demands payment. He resorted to demanding payment in addition to attaching deadlines of what would happen if I did not pay him by a certain time the next day. He did this on a couple of occasions. Long story short, my case made no progress, in fact it went backwards, how that is possible I dont know. To top it off his invoice is three times that of opposing counsel who was professional,involved and did far more for our case. Please be careful, nobody deserves this from someone they are supposed to trust to represent you through legal proceedings. My next step is a grievance through the BAR association as this experience and representation should NEVER have to be endured by anyone.
