5 /5 Brett Smith: Chris Ramsay is a great lawyer. I hired him to defend me in a criminal matter and hes really on the ball. My matter was just a misdemeanor but he treated it as if he was defending me from a homicide charge.
When a client calls, he picks up the phone or calls back really quickly, and when Ive needed something from him, he tackled it immediately like it was an emergency, even when I told him that Im not in any hurry, and the reason why I needed help is because I was being an idiot and not prioritizing my responsibility to the court.
When youre looking for a criminal lawyer, one thing thats really important is finding one that has a good working relationship with judges and prosecutors. In court, I could see that Chris has that. He was able to get something called a "stay of proceedings" which means the entire case disappears like it never existed if I abide by the terms of probation (dont get arrested for 1 year).
Oddly enough, Chris doesnt even charge more for his time than other criminal lawyers even though the level of attention he gives to each client is much higher.
Id recommend him, and if I ever decide to live a life of crime, Ill have his number on speed dial.
