1 /5 Stephanie Zoeller: I am not normally a Google review human, however the lack of communication plus the huge rate hikes we experienced with Biggs is unacceptable.
We purchased a new vehicle and needed to get proof of coverage before we could take ownership. That day, I called four separate times during business hours, left four separate messages as well as emailing them. To this day, I have not received a phone call or email back about adding a new vehicle to our policy. I had to go directly to the insurance company to get what I needed.
When we received our renewals and noticed our policies had gone up a significant amount (over $1,000 for our auto policy and close to $500 for our homeowners) with no changes to our driving history I had called to discuss this. I still have not received a call back.
We have now gone to another insurance agent and different insurance company. When I called to cancel our policies, I was again routed to voicemail. Still no call back. I emailed them requesting a cancellation. I did get a response to that, however the paperwork that was sent over was for one vehicle, not all the policies I had requested. When I requested ALL the policies, I received no communication back.
We ended up getting charged $1,500 for auto insurance because they could not complete the cancellations in time. I may or may not get the full amount back from our old insurance company. When I brought this to their attention, there has been no call or email back. I again had to go directly to the insurance company to complete the cancellation.
I am unsure what is going on in the office currently. This agency used to be wonderful to work with: responsive, helpful, and you were able to get a call or email back within one business day.
If you are looking for an insurance agent, this is no longer a company I would recommend.
