1 /5 Pacific Blue Investments, LLC: If I could rate this place a zero, I would. I am a local senior citizen. I am also a retired legal professional. Because I am currently incapacitated and needed to sign a DOL document for my credit union, I appointed and signed a Power of Attorney so a friend could act in my stead signing this simple TITLE APPLICATION in support of a car refinance. He drove all the way to town in the middle of his work day to help me. As soon as he asked to see her, and the owner who said she was the notary came out to the front desk, she behaved like a snake slithering through the grass waiting for the opportunity to strike. She pounced on him immediately, impugning his character as if he was trying to steal my estate. My Power of Attorney was signed in front of THREE (3) WITNESSES, 1 in addition to the 2 required by WASHINGTON LAW. The Power of Attorney stated on its face: "This Power of Attorney is granted for the sole purpose of signing Department of Licensing documents...to finalize a vehicle loan on that certain vehicle through WSECU." She then proceeded to impugn my character telling him that I should know better, and that I did not know what I was doing in preparing a Power of Attorney. This woman was not a legal professional able to give legal advice, but that didnt stop her from offering erroneous legal commentary or hurling personal insults. I retired after 40 years of legal work including specifically preparing legal documents, inclusive of estate and probate forms such as a Power of Attorney. This woman had one job, to notarize a simple signature of my POA not to make snap judgments and publicly impugn the character of others in a legitimate and very simple transaction. Feeling so uncomfortable, my friend left the store. But she was still not done. When I then phoned her to inquire what that was all about, she kept running her mouth talking over me. When I asked if I could speak, she rudely hung up. I called back to ask her name for the purpose of filing a complaint with the licensing board. Again she was discourteous and rude, compelling me to utter a 5 letter word starting with a B.....This woman needs to have her notary license jerked and her lips sewn shut. She gives female business owners a very bad name through incompetence, not staying in her lane, lack of courtesy, and unprofessionalism not to mention outright disrespect for others. In my opinion, if you have a time constraint and important deadline in a business transaction, drive in to Deer Park or Spokane. Dont try to get your important business done with Kathy at All Faz. For a $10 notary signature, you are not paying for an audition before Judge Judy with whom she shares a similar rude disturbing demeanor and fake legal advice. I believe this entire experience was most unfortunate and should never have happened. As well, it was an extremely stressful experience for a sick and incapacitated senior.
