I changed from VOS Insurance Agency to another insurance agency in July 2025 because VOS Insurance Agency was extremely slow following up on my insurance policy-related questions, they did almost nothing to keep/retain my business once I placed my insurance policies with them (home/rental-property), and I felt as if I was on my own in dealing with the insurance company (Travelers) when I had a claim. A good insurance agent/agency will work to keep/retain your continued business by, at minimum, shopping your policies to different insurance companies for you before policy renewal time to ensure that you are receiving the best rates possible, helping you deal with the insurance company when you have a claim, and promptly answering any insurance-related questions that you may have. After all, they are paid to do this by the commissions that they receive from the insurance company. I have had home and rental property policies with VOS Insurance Agency since 2021, and I have regretted every minute of it.
