Truist - Odessa (TX)

1 /5 K Lewis: Registered and funded an account online since there isnt a branch in my state. Truist closed the account two days later. Contacted customer service to find out why and was told I needed to visit a branch to provide identification. I again explained Im no where near a branch and asked if there was an alternate method to verify ID. To send via email, document upload, etc. The representative stated no, the only way to verify identification is at a branch. When I asked about my funds in the account, she said she didnt see any money. I corrected her immediately and told her "SunTrust" debited the funds because its on my bank statement. Trust purchased SunTrust and clearly hasnt updated the name but the money left my account. Navy Federal also confirmed Truist withdrew the funds. Trust continued to say they didnt receive any funds and they couldnt reopen the accounts. So I filed a fraud dispute with Navy Federal against Truist.

1 /5 Reynaldo Balcazar: I have never dealt with such disrespectful people in my life. They do not conduct business right and let their attitude get the best of them. These people need to be investigated. The operations manager harasses people by calling them on blocked caller id, calls the cops and also hangs up the phone without any type of resolution or information. They have been holding a check I deposited for 25 days and when you try to get information or updates on it, they tell you to leave and call the cops without any type of trespassing notice. There is no way these people are fit for these job titles.

1 /5 J M: the worst bank with which Ive dealt. made even worse by a poorly managed branch. the tellers, Ally and Abby are wonderful, but the extent of the help that they can provide is limited by what corporate allows, which is a joke . I am truly sick and tired of dealing with this second rate establishment. I WILL BE transferring my accounts to another bank. truist IS THE WORST. Ive complained to corporate with no result obviously the problem comes from the top. its a wonder theyre still in business. and I do not expect to see that for too much longer. they are horrible in every possible way . one would think that the local branch manager would fix the problems that are in her control. but she doesnt seem interested. it is clear she is there merely to collect a paycheck sadly enough.she takes no pride in her position NOT Re Commended. enter at your own risk! sincerely,

1 /5 Ashley M: They never answer their phones. Since I have transferred my banking with Truist I get my direct deposit from my work a day later. I am still waiting a week later for my external transfer to hit my other bank. I can’t even get ahold of anyone to ask what happened!?! Not impressed.

1 /5 Beth Lightfoot: Very rude customer service! I went with my sister who has an account there. The girl helping us refused to notarize a paper for my sister. She needed proof of heirship for her deceased son. They did not want to notarize it because my name was on the paperwork as well.
