5 /5 Agent Calabasas: Never in my life did I ever think I would be going to trial. Not only did I go to trial, but I had the man that can not only talk the talk but can walk the walk. I am blown away at how compassionate, attentive, understanding, informative, righteous, and genuine this attorney is. Visiting with him is honestly a pleasure and he made the entire thing so smooth and less painful somehow. Hes incredibly skilled and highly intelligent; I just knew he was the right attorney upon our consultation (via Zoom). Matthew Maddox is a man that truly cares and it actually shows in his fight in the courtroom. Its been an absolute honor to have him as our attorney. On an even brighter note, we won the trial. Hes a passionate man and he knows just the words it takes to paint a picture extremely accurately without even utilizing many words. Now thats real skill! Impressed is an understatement. Fog: I didnt expect much from a court appointed attorney because Im pretty ignorant of legal/judicial proceedings and stuff and just assumed they would go through the motions like the two Id had prior. But wow(!) was Mr. Maddux a welcome surprise: throughout the process he has been compassionate, thorough, intuitive, with universal relatability (and as a bonus funny and cool ). But what matters most is I got the feeling from the beginning that he was on top of the ball with several defense strategies ready to go, and just as important seemed to genuinely want to help. His office is friendly too and provides timely updates and I never have trouble getting through. I hope to never ever ever go to court again but if I did I would want Matt and his team representing me. Easy five stars.
