These attorneys are hardworking, honest, and only move in a way that’s in your best interest—no games, no pressure. One of the things I appreciated most was how quickly they responded. Whether it was a question or an update, I never had to chase them down or sit in court all day wondering what was going on. They actually take the time to look into your case, dig for loopholes, and catch mistakes that could get charges reduced—or dropped altogether. And if dropping it isn’t an option, they’ll fight to get you the best possible outcome, no question. They’re not working for the state like some public defenders. 2 /5 Marie Barrientez: The reason for my 2 star. With the case for Randy Gutierrez it was never pursued with the Prosecutors.. Attorney Daniel made 3 calls and kept the $5000 retainers after advising if he only had to make a few calls and case wasn’t pursued he would give back majority of the money.. Randy called a few times regarding the remainder of money and reception stated attorney Daniel requested him to come in office again to speak in person.. Perhaps to collect more money.. Again, I emphasize case was never persuade, and attorney felt $5000 was fair for 3 calls. Attorney stating he has asked Randy to come in several times, the reason Randy has not is because he does not want to be charged for another office visit.. A phone call will do just fine no reason for Randy taking time off work for a 5 minute visit. Randy called several times to get an itemized statement what he was being charged for from the receptionist and never got one, he also requested several times something in writing stating his case was dropped and never received anything. Your correct I am not the client , I am the witness I sat there in the office the day Randy handed you the retainer fee and I heard you state quote on quote " Now if the prosecutor does not pick up the case I will not take your entire $5000 for just a few phone calls" Also lets clarify you did not assist with the other case, he did not need an attorney for that case. At the end of the day we are just stating the facts, per Randy who is sitting right next to me.
