1 /5 mic b: I will explain my one star rating. Mr Johnson was my uncles attorney. My uncle wrote his will he made me his power of attorney . I contacted Mr Johnson and asked him to set up a TOD (transfer on death deed) he told me he had a better way. I did not ask him what that was knowing my uncle would be the one to sign any documents and expected Mr Johnson to explain what he planed. He had my uncle sign a Life Estate meaning my uncle no longer owned his property. Two months later my uncle went to the title company to sell his back acres to his neighbor that is when he was told he no longer owned his land. So Mr Johnson did not do his job explaining what he had done . And later many complications arose as a result of MR Johnsons poor handling of this situation. In my opinion if someone needs an attorney in Leon County Texas I would not recommend Mr Johnson !!!!

1 /5 Edna Salyer: Mr. Johnson handled a partition case for me, and he threw me under the bus. According to him I had no rights, but the oposite side did even though I owned 2/3 to their 1/3. He spent more time talking to them than his own client, even though they disclosed the fact they had an attorney. He never referred them to their attorney for any questions or answers that they may have had and of course it cost me money everytime he talked to them. It has been my experience that when someone tell you they have an attorney you stop talking to them and say have your attorney call me, I cant talk to you because you have legal representation. He gave the other side an option to pay or not pay a share of the survey fees even though they were benefiting from it. Mr. Johnson fight for who you are fighting against; for the oposite side not his client. When I realized what type of attorney he was I was to far in to change to someone else. My advise is if you want some who will fight for you and not for the other side dont hire Charley Johnson.
