Gerri Gayner J.West jewelers are the best jewelers I have ever worked with. Joe West has made many beautiful custom jewelry pieces for me. They care about each and every customer and provide excellent service. They are hard-working, honest, reliable, trustworthy and very kind Christians. They also have a beautiful selection of jewelry and make gorgeous wedding rings. The one Joe made for my daughter is stunning ! 5 stars just aren’t enough for them. They are that good. Give them a try you’ll will be so glad that you did!

Paul Hamilton Hugo & his family are amazing. The attention to detail and customer service far surpass anywhere else Ive been. I have truly enjoyed working with the Mosquedas designing these pieces of custom jewelry. Highly recommend this group for any jewelry needs. Update: I am so happy with this ring, Hugo. Thank you for being patient with me and for iterating so many times. This is exactly what I wanted. You made a lousy year into something so much better with your kindness and artistic eye! Brianna Norris I needed some links removed from a new Bulova watch I had gotten for my birthday. At first I tried taking it to the actual bulova section of Dillard’s, who refused to help me because I hadn’t bought it from there. But 20 more steps through the mall I saw this lovely jewelry store that took great care of me! This very professional staff was very patient with me and did a nice job (they had to take out almost all the links) but it was only $8 and super fast. I really appreciated the service!!

Dashiell Allen-Smith This place is… something. First of all, I visited late May of 2022, on a Saturday. Anyway, if you want to go shopping, I do not think that this will be your place. Macy’s closed in 2017, Palais Royal closed in 2020 alongside Sears, and Dillards closed in 2006. I should also add that the food court has been vacant for years. Heck, the Claire’s, the one really decent-looking store, closed a while before I arrived, not to mention that a third of the mall (the playground and the empty hallways towards Macy’s) have been closed since the pandemic. However, despite ALL of these flaws, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The styling, though slightly refurbished roughly 5 or so years ago, still looks similar to how it did when it opened in 1982. The Palais Royal still has it’s logo in place, but so does the Sears. So if you enjoy dated architectural design, I would highly recommend. EDIT: I went back during Thanksgiving week, and the place is not doing too hot. The only name brand store, which I believe was a FootAction, has closed since I last went last May. Just a fare warning, the area is not the safest (certainly no Greenspoint or Sharpstown, but still enough that you should be more careful), and that the old Macy’s may have a homeless person or two. Don’t worry, as the mall itself should be fine, since the only people there are getting exercise. Only go after dark if you know what you are doing. In conclusion, if you want to go, do so sooner rather than later since I doubt the longevity of this mall. EDIT 2: I added more photos from Thanksgiving Week 2022, this time from my camera, as I forgot to put the photos of it on here. The new photos do not reflect the current state of the mall, again as they are from a couple of months ago.
