1 /5 Bri P: HORRIBLE! I got auto insurance for my vehicle almost 2 weeks ago and when I called to inquire on their cancellation policy the lady’s tone turned very hostile and said that due to “lack of payment” my vehicle right now is not insured by them. I asked the lady how was there a lack of payment if i paid damn near almost $400 the day I purchased the insurance, she proceeded to say that although i made full payment, its been 20 days and she needs another payment and since I haven’t paid again, I’m uninsured even when my papers say my obligation is to pay every 30 days on contract. What that lady did was an illegal act of false information of my policy and I already reported this to my attorney and will sue for defamation. To tell me that I’m uninsured due to no payment at a false timespan that was not on my contract is unprofessional and the lady also threatened and said to me “due to no payment and if you cancel this policy, this will be reported to any other insurance and they will see it and not accept you for a cheaper rate other than here with us”. Her words exactly. Some disgusting professionalism, and I will also sue for emotional distress and I was worried my lein holder was going to repo my vehicle since this uneducated lady was saying my car has not been insured since 20 days ago when in fact i had coverage for another 2 weeks. Lies after lies
