PNC Bank - Galveston (TX)

1 /5 Rose Henry: Im leaving this review on behalf of my experience as a home healthcare provider. I have been working for my client for about a month and PNC has refused to cash the checks my client has written to pay for her home health care. After being paid twice, the bank required our clients attorney (Peter Sapio) to send over information verifying the legitimacy of the checks, which he did. Despite providing everything PNC requested, this branch has still refused to release my clients funds, thus resulting in myself and the other home health aides not being paid for three works worth of work. Our client is an elderly, bedridden woman who has requested in-home care, but since the bank is refusing to release her funds, she had to be forcibly removed from her home and placed into a facility. I am disgusted that the bank manager refused to come to her home after she called for assistance with this matter several times. It seems PNC does not care about the well-being of their elderly customers. I would strongly recommend avoiding this branch or moving your money to another institution.

1 /5 John Sanchez: We refinance with bank and it was not a good experience. They were helpful initially then once the process started it was hurry hurry. As a result our escort account was not right. There was no one from bank at closing to answer questions and the title (Stewart )company was no help and gave very bad advise. I do not recommend bank for mortgage loans.

5 /5 Philip Ulrich: I don’t like PNC as a bank, but tellers here are super nice and helpful. I needed larger bills for my cruise and didn’t have a local bank. They let me withdraw from the ATM and they changed me up to $100s.

1 /5 Caroline Cope: Absolutely the worst bank I’ve ever banked with! I’ve been with BBVA for 6 years, I’ve always been annoyed at how long they hold a check or their deposit limits but it was a small inconvenience to stay and not go through the hassle of switch banks. I had a fraud charge of a few hundred dollars, reported it immediately and disabled my cards. I spoke to a woman named Carol there after threatening to close my account. She said give it some time for their fraud department to investigate it. 9 days later the money was credited back to my account. TWO months later I get a letter saying the fraud department came back and it was a legitimate charge and debited my account for it! I went to the bank immediately and they basically said their hands were tied but I can review the evidence their fraud department had. So not only did BBVA basically call me a liar on the charge but acted like it was no big deal to lose a customer of several years. Take your money else where.

1 /5 David C: Worst experience ever here! Out of town here for a cruise and stop to withdrawal cash. Once we insert our card in, the ATM screen changed and said temporarily out of service and kept the card. We go inside and they tell us it is not their ATM and there is nothing they can do. We explained its linked to our account for the cruise and the problem it creates since we do not bank there. Extremely frustrating
