1 /5 Chris Framsted: I firmly believe that the best way to educate consumers is through reviews. The only reason Pecan Street Ins. is receiving one star is because ZERO stars isnt an option. After being screwed by Pecan St Ins to the tune of over $1,300/month we gladly switched to Allstate Ins., saving us over $800/month. Pecan St. Ins was our insurance agency for over 15+ years. We were able to switch ins to Allstate and save us a great amount of money each month. I just wish I would have sought out Allstate MUCH earlier. Live and learn. Pecan Street Ins is what I would refer to as a slum ins agency. To say they were BUTT HURT by us canceling our policies was an understatement. Jeff and Manny (who claims he owns the agency), are the most jokily unprofessional scum Ive ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. TAKE MY ADVICE....KEEP SEARCHING FOR A BETTER INS AGENCY!!! Youve been warned! TRUST ME....You will learn the hard way at some point. We sure did.

She recently saved me a substantial amount of money by updating my insurance policy to reflect my new roof and securing reimbursement for overpayments from the past years. Perlas dedication and attention to detail are truly commendable. I highly recommend Perla and Pecan Street Insurance Agency for their outstanding service!

5 /5 Brian Wood: I have had both my homeowners and auto policy with Pecan Street for over 5 years now. While I have not experienced a major loss during that period, I have experienced smaller claims, as well as changes in pricing. 2 years ago the cost of my homeowners policy was set to increase significantly and the Pecan Street staff actively helped me find a competitive and high quality policy (also moved our cars as well). So far every time I have called, they have been helpful and great.

4 /5 Jennifer Karlsson: My family had a very excellent experience with Pecan Street Insurance. Going through difficult financial times, we were doing a complete overhaul of our budget and paring down any expenses we could. The folks at Pecan Street Insurance were an immense help in finding both auto and homeowners policies that contained the coverage we needed at a much more affordable rate than the ones we had previously. They also pursued some little-known discounts that happened to apply to us, acting as our agent when negotiating with the insurance company and in handling the paperwork for much of the process. Their treatment of us was friendly, considerate, prompt, professional, and overall exactly what we wanted when we chose to use a local agent rather than simply sign up with some large company on our own. I highly recommend Pecan Street Insurance. I might point out, in regard to the statements made by "anonymous" in their review of Feb. 14, 2011, that Pecan Street Insurance is an agency, not an an insurance company. Therefore, they do not set pricing for policies. Premium hikes are the decision of and are implemented by the insurance company, not the agency. Again, highly recommended.

Every single person we have worked with there, even the owner, has gone above and beyond to meet our needs. We cannot say enough good things about Pecan Street Insurance.
