OneMain Financial - Midland (TX)

1 /5 Kelle Underhill: I used this company to get a loan to build my credit. It was paid off in July of last year. They never sent my title back, and after 6 months they’re all of a sudden saying I owe the entire loan again. They never called to say I missed a payment, they never called to tell me I owed money(they call 3 times a day even if you’re only one day late), and the online portal showed I owed nothing for months. Now- randomly, I owe the whole loan and they reported to the credit bureau that I’m behind and dropped my credit 40 points. This place is a SCAM- do not use them!!

5 /5 Letty DeLeon: The entire staff at the Midland, Texas branch location are amazing! Sonya is the original one who helped me but she was out to lunch when I went in so Diane/Diana took care of me. She was extremely helpful and showed me exactly how to pay off loan faster and pay less interest. It always nice being able to save money. I highly recommend the Midland location, they are all very professional and friendly! The branch manager Yvette has a great team!!!

1 /5 emily Butler: I applied for a loan which I was repeatedly told I got accepted then asked for more documentation. After every document i turned in I got told I was approved then asked for another document. Not only that after giving them ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING they could possibly need I was told my loan would be given to me on a certain date after calling everyday for 3 weeks they somehow missed that date. I have yet to get my loan even though somehow someway I’ve been “approved” over 4 times for the same loan. So not only is my credit ran through but even after being accepted multiple times I have not received my loan. Do not recommend.

3 /5 A-1 Sign Engravers, inc: The process of receiving the loan is great! But the people in this location are absolutely relentless. I know when my payment is due. I typically make that payment about 4 days after due to the way our payroll falls. We have received countless calls the very next day after the due date requesting payment. After speaking to several reps in this office & being told the system is on auto call basically, Ive come to the conclusion that possibly this office is just trying to fill time!! I deal with customer service & accounts on a daily basis. If I ever found out my CSRs are calling customers in such a manner there would be consequences. We have been faithful customers to this location for several years & never in the past have we received so many calls about our payment. This could be a huge turnoff for potential customers. Another issue is I have asked on multiple occasions to change the contact number OneMain has to mine. I am the one who handles our home finances. On multiple occasions I have been told it has been changed. IT HASNT! He received the call just today. Please update this information as requested & requested & requested & requested. I totally understand having to contact customers concerning past due or defaulted accounts. But if you notice our account is not one of those. If I am more than a week late on a payment, by all means please call me. If I am one day late then please give me the opportunity to make it or contact my local office.
