OneMain Financial - Amarillo (TX)

1 /5 Lee Matrix: So I just got off the phone with the rude receptionist in regards to my account because in the app, it allows you supposedly to remove your current checking account and you’re supposed to be able to add another checking account if you’re wanting to change accounts from which your money is withdrawn from. I will never take a loan from this place again. Enjoy the interest while you guys have it because I will never ever ever borrow money from this place again. The customer service reps in this current branch in Amarillo are rude as hell and they don’t give two shits About what you’re trying to explain. Now I got hit with an overdraft fee when I thought I had changed the account from which the money was withdrawn from. According to their app You can remove an account and add another one in its place to make sure that your payments get made. Apparently, that’s not the case! You have to physically call and have someone do the change for you because apparently they have to send you documents to sign and email back to them. It would be nice if they would explain this in the process of me trying to switch accounts. But that’s not something that they offer in the app even though it’s there lol doesn’t make any sense. So when I reached out to the OneMain financial 800 number, apparently I’m not the only one that has had issues with this. People are complaining about it left and right. If it’s not a service you offer, don’t include it in the app. Simple as that!

1 /5 Bailey Fisk: After reaching out when I wasnt called during my scheduled time Cheryl was rude over the phone yet stated she would get back to me and didnt. I waited a few days and called again only to be told she was out on lunch and would again get back to me and never did! Never got to finish my application and move forward with anything because employees simply wont do what theyre being paid too.

3 /5 Lisa Davis: This is a great place to go. But, some of the employees need a different job due to horrible people skills and respect. First off, Eloy was very good at getting things done. He shows respect and answers your questions. It can be a long process, it is a loan. So, while we were waiting, we witnessed Amy Rodriguez having zero respect for anyone. She rudely made two women wait and then told them there was nothing she could do. Then, when we had to have her proof the loan that Eloy had left on her keyboard, she put it to the side and began working on a loan she was creating. No apologies. No eye contact. No words spoken to us. But, if she tried to pull the hated towards us as she did towards the other ladies, there would have been a big problem! After waiting almost another hour, she finally did her job. She needs to go through training again to show respect or find another job. She will lose customers.

1 /5 SYNPHONY MENDEZ: Amy told us we were approved and made us come to Amarillo from Dalhart miss a day of work and spend money and time driving to and from just to tell us we weren’t approved. She was very rude and couldn’t get her facts straight. Very unprofessional and when we asked why she said we were approved and made us come to just basically sign and then change everything she said completely she said it was because she didn’t have all our paystubs when everything was submitted to her from the beginning through email and we showed proof. She tried to blame it on us! Will much definitely going to a bank instead.. horrible place to do business with. Do not recommend!
