2 /5 Jonathan Sledge: I came here as a very last ditch effort for help. I never ever ask for help, maybe the man in me. But i just went through divorce and have sole custody of my 2 daughters. After a long list of car repairs and work slowing to a halt my electric was very near being shut off. I didnt want to have to ask anyone and had it only been just me I probably wouldnt have gotten past my own pride. But I have these 2 girls to look after. So I talked to 2 people. They seemed very nice and took info and said theyd call me with further instructions. After a few days I called back and was transferred to a voicemail. Now its a week later and still nothing. Im guessing no answer is an answer? I can appreciate what yall are are doing but at least a verbal sorry no or something. Just feel worse knowing the one time I actually suck it up and say I need help its met with silence. Just hope this isnt a regular ordeal for people in need. I gave 2 stars in the hopes thats just my luck and maybe an anomaly. Idk

3 /5 Darla Taylor: Hi, I like to put out good reviews and Mission Granbury has helped me in the past with food and a utility bill. Which I am very thankful for and all they do. However back in December I had called to get a heater cause mine went out and Im on a very small fixed income. I was told to come get one and it would be waiting for me. I went to pick it up and there were several lined up on the office cabinet. I had to go out and get DL to verify myself and when I came back to get it, the people in the office were laughing and immediately handed me a desktop heater the size of my hand. When I questioned about it vs the other heaters that were being distributed, they said sorry thats all we have. It had been opened and used. I took it and thanked them as they continued to laugh. A few weeks later I had my brother go get me the original heater they were distributing out and he had no problems getting the heater for me that I was supposed to get originally. I am grateful for what this organization does for the community and for myself but the way they went about helping me felt like a slap in the face and laughing at me didnt make things any better. In your mission statement it talks about compassion and yet I didnt get that when seeking help. I hope you can understand that it is hard enough already to ask for help.

5 /5 Bobby Whitney: Incredibly nice people doing great work for those less fortunate. This is a great cause. If you have time or resources to donate, this is a great option. Tenured staff and programs to best help those in need. Give back what you can!
