Amanda Policky My family has used Morgan Stanley as financial advisors for decades. So, I was excited to see if they could help me plan for retirement in the next 10 years and make some investments. My husband requested an appointment through the website and we waited 2 days and had no response. I sent an email stating that no one had called back, and an appointment for a phone call was made. During the phone call, the representative told me he knew my family (had worked with them "for decades") and that he would send me a paper to fill out and send back. After filling out the paper, I waited 2 weeks. No response. I emailed saying that I was going to look elsewhere, since this is the second time I have not been important enough to call back. I got an email saying that "This month has brought with it a tremendous workload we were not expecting, so we are unable to take on new clients at this time." Why wasnt I told that two weeks ago? If you dont think I am important enough to work with, say that. Would not recommend.

Daniel Wendelmeier The only bad thing I can say is that the connection on the phone kept dropping so they had to call me back several times. According to the sign on the door they are closed to the public because of the pandemic but are still inside working. Interesting. My dad applied for Utility Assistance, they couldnt help him right away but gave me numbers to local churches that did end up helping us. I guess it helps to know whats in your community. Whoever it was that answered the phone said that January 1 started a new year for them and they have to call people applying in the order that the applications come in. Since it was February 1, I would imagine that means there are people in front of my dad. When they told me they cover 5 counties. I was shocked it wasnt just Giddings/ Lee county, so I can understand that theyre probably super busy. Thank you for helping me get my dad taken care of and for getting us to a church to help while we wait for a call.

Ive been very impressed with my local branch, but the call center has been a different story. My first interaction was with Valerie. She was friendly and answered all of the questions I had at the time. She also gave me her direct number in case I had any further questions. This is where the customer service has hit an iceberg. I have called her direct line 5 times in two weeks with no response. I know its the correct number because her greeting states her name and says shell contact you back in a timely manner. Im unlikely going to continue this loan process with yall since I have been completely ignored. Will likely just stay with my current "to big to fail" bank, since they at least return queries to my questions. Jeremy and Angela contacted me and completely remedied the issues with me, and I am very satisfied with their response. I believe they will be using this as a team coaching opportunity, and should not be a problem in the future.
