5 /5 John Menzies: It’s hard to adequately describe our dealings with Nita. She has represented my family through some of our hardest trials in life. Divorce, mediations, a prolonged high intensity custody battle, and false abuse allegations that ended in CPS involvement. She pursues everything before her with composure and steadfast resolve. She is a fierce advocate when needed, and invaluable in the court room. Yet this is balanced by a compassionate side that keeps her grounded, and fighting for what she knows is right. A friend told me “I don’t think you could make Nita do anything she didn’t want to.” They are correct. She will give it to you straight, and then fight tirelessly as your advocate. She’s not interested in representing you just to take your money, like so many other are. She’s interested in making sure justice is served. Her support staff are always right on task, and do a great job of making everything run smoothly. Her office helps relieve the stress you are going through. Everything Nita said she thought could be done was accomplished. Thanks to her I was granted sole custody of all 7 of my children and I could never be more thankful!!! Its a divorce.. Dont approach it like an end of a marriage. But like a unpleasant but necessary business transaction. Best move I made was going to Nita Meador!!!

5 /5 Tracy Leadmon: Bottom line...Ms. Meador is intelligent, insightful, and savvy topped with a lot of spunk. Let me just say that Im so grateful that she was sitting at our table in the courtroom. My husband and I live in Maryland. We didnt know where to begin when we started receiving information about the welfare of my husbands children. As fate would have it, we hit the jackpot when I contacted Nita and explained the situation. That was over 10 years ago. She helped us gather concrete evidence and represented us through the Temporary Modification Orders. A year later, she represented us in a jury trial to finalize the temporary order. In the last four years Nita represented us twice as the biological mother tried to regain custody through trumped up allegations. She was able to have the most recent case dismissed without us even appearing in court. Her legal skills are superb and she is well connected within the community. Her instincts have proven right every time. I really dont know where our family would be, what would have happened to these beautiful children if Nita had not been with us. 1 /5 Laura H: I hired this attorney based upon word of mouth. She was so thoughtfu and on fire at consultation. As soon as she got my retainer she spoke to me with disdain and rude. She did absolutely nothing to settle my case. Worse money ever spent. I will use anyone else in Brown county.
