1 /5 Jason kennedy: This bank and the branch manager Heather is an absolute JOKE and the most unprofessional person I have met as a business owner and dealing with multiple banks and even worse than national banks. 2 years they closed my business account with over $100k in the account because our business was performing “TOO LARGE OF INCOMING & OUT GOING TRANSACTIONS” . Pshhhhh. Should have learned from that scheme. I guess it’s hard to leverage and invest customers money when conducting business on a daily basis. THEN the branch manager wouldn’t even discuss our account, or show us our bank statements before interrupting me and my wife several times and then kicking us out of her office when we told her to stop interrupting and please let us speak, and then made us leave before we could close our account or even have a chance to talk or reconcile anything or get statements to view. Disgusting behavior from a person with a title of branch manager and save yourself the headache of dealing with these thieves and amateur bankers! BBB will get the 18th complaint from this “Happy” costumer. They will most likely have class action lawsuit soon from their clients s like BOA, TD and all the other slime banks because everyone including friends, neighbors and even strangers in the parking lot have been disturbed by their non transparent and diluted disclosures and failure to notify their customers about fees and fraudulent transactions, while stealing hard working people’s money. GROSS!!!! Even our money can’t buy good Popcorn, coffee or customer service. What a HAPPY DAY at Happy state. Save yourselves the hassle of dealing with complete incompetence. Have a happy day! I know I will know that we will never have to deal with the staff, this bank and their horrible online platform. Don’t be fooled by the smoke mirrors because your money is paying more it. I would like a call from your corporate office.

1 /5 Cole Kuchan: *Update* Ive come to realize, rather than addressing issues or saying anything on a public review page, all Happy State does is post the same generic response to every poor review. Anyone considering this horrible bank, save yourself the trouble and use Amarillo National. They care about their customers I stopped by recently to get a cashier’s check and was just under the required amount by less than a dollar. Instead of letting me know, the teller processed the transaction anyway and then hit me with a $35 overdraft fee. I’m really frustrated by the lack of communication. A quick heads-up would have saved me from an unnecessary charge. This kind of service makes banking with you frustrating. Ill probably be switching to ANB soon. They seem to care about their customers.

1 /5 Lanetra Roberts: DO NOT BANK WITH!! This bank will charge you fees up the butt your direct deposit dont be ready until after they open especially if it a holiday on payday. The system is slow with the purchases you got, so you think you have money in there, but dont then you get over draft charges cause of their system error or NSF cause of their error. I now own over 200 dollars because their system error, but they want to say it my fault even though they said it must have hit later on your account. And get this, my account is not set up to overdraft, so make it make sense. How can I still use my card if there was nothing on it unless your system is slow? dont say that I need to wait to make a purchase, then what is the point of your system. Its crazy that Chime and even Cash app is starting to look more pleasing than "Real Banks."

1 /5 Damon Merriman: Opened a checking account. Set it up online just to be charged for having a paper statement sent to my home. Female manager I talked to could not have been any more rude or unprofessional. Will be closing the account asap
