1 /5 Erin A: My agent quoted numbers that were lower than she what she actually charged me for and called multiple times for additional unexpected increases in our fee. Then wrote the policy under the wrong home address (yes for home insurance) and I caught it and asked about it and she said we would have to rewrite the policy but the price would increase again and recommended to just go with the policy with the wrong home address and said it should be fine. Needless to say I cancelled my policy and went back to my original broker!

2 /5 Armond: My original agent left without any notice from Goosehead, and the new agent I received has been searching for new quotes for my renewal for over a month now. To top it off, when I contacted them to not renew my home policy they sent me paperwork to sign with the correct date but somehow sent my home insurance company the incorrect date so my policy is actually terminating earlier than expected. Luckily I still have coverage for enough time to correct it by starting my next policy with a different carrier earlier. I tried calling them today and when the phone finally answered after holding it immediately hung up. They seemed like a good agency before, but poor communication and recent errors led me elsewhere.

1 /5 Lauren Davies: Horrendous experience. I didn’t even file any claims. They could never figure out how to connect the credit card to the insurance carrier, leaving me with collection notices. They also sent me erroneous copies of policies they created with several different policy numbers for the same thing. Incredibly frustrating. They clearly have a difficult time keeping agents… in two years I never spoke to the same one twice. Appears they are constantly leaving.

1 /5 Jen N: I’ve had Goosehead Insurance as my broker for over 10 years now. But the past three years has been very difficult to deal with them. I’ve been dealing directly with my insurance companies because Goosehead won’t answer my calls or emails.I do not recommend Goosehead. Just represent yourself or get a different broker.
