1 /5 Mj Grube: We were recommended Colby Carpenter thru our mortgage broker and thought that it would make our home buying experience less stressful. Boy were we wrong. Should have went with our guts when he started off like a used car salesmen. Couldnt get the docusign before closing so our lender had to reach out. Our closing date didnt get updated and he was fine with us being covered/charged for 2weeks extra so our lender had to follow up there. Lack of due diligence led to our initial policy being canceled. When our loan was transferred he never had the lender information changed. Now Im having to call around, sit on hold, get everything updated and make payments out of pocket so another policy doesnt get cancelled. Basically dont make him money when everyone is doing his job for him.
