I really do not understand how they got so many good reviews. … I was on the phone with one of the agents almost 40 minutes …It sounds like Freeway Insurance in Texas is playing a bit of a tricky game. Claiming to offer the "best rates" is one thing, but then charging a $250 fee just to find you a policy that you could’ve gotten directly from the insurer without that extra cost feels pretty misleading. Essentially, youre paying them to shop around for you, but that fee ends up making the final price similar to what you would’ve paid on your own. It’s kind of like paying for a service that doesn’t really add value. Not the best deal, especially if youre hoping to save money!
