Wells Fargo Bank - Seguin

Nicholas P I went into the Seguin branch on Monday 8/26 to order a new debit card because mine was expiring. I talked to a teller and a banker and they Updated my address even though they had the correct one on hand. They assured me that I would receive a new card would in 5-7 business days and that they do not issue instant temporary cards. It has been 8 business days and I have not received any updates or the card. I called CS today and rep said they didnt see any card being shipped. He was awesome and ordered a new card and authorized it to be to be used via my digital wallet. So here I am, having to take cash out with my ID for what will be 3 weeks unless the card doesnt arrive. I spent 40 mins at this branch and even sat down with an incompetent banker that didnt even send the card or mention the digital wallet version? He was a 40-50 year old man and was doing something on his computer for 15-20mins and all he did was change my mailing address and didnt even order it? Its 2024 and I shouldnt have to wait to acces my bank account at all let alone almost 2-3 weeks. I dont ever leave extremely negative reviews ever but I feel so stupid checking the mail everyday for something that was never going to be there. Also the fact that it wasnt mentioned that I could just access the new card via digital wallet and didnt have to wait. This was lazy customer service for an extremely simple problem. I am worse off for going into the branch instead of just calling a CS rep and that is sad. Maybe someone from this branch will see this and this problem wont happen to anyone else.
