He uses his many years of experience and wisdom to give his clients sound and practical advice pertaining to their particular situation. Many attorneys will tell clients whatever they want to hear to take their money and will do exactly whatever the client says or suggests, even if it is NOT in the clients best interest or remotely has a reasonable probability of playing out as the client wants it to. Shawn is not that way. Shawn is VERY honest and will tell you the actual facts, legal outcome probabilities, and lay out the full picture of all perspectives of your legal circumstances so his clients have a realistic understanding of their situation so you (the client) and Shawn can organize which strategies and approaches will be most beneficial to help navigate your legal issue so you can come out with the best case scenario. Shawn is honest and fair and doesnt use sneaky tactics to upcharge your bill in unreasonable ways, and he responds back to clients typically the same day or next day most the time. He does utilize e-mail correspondence as his main back and forth with clients. So if youre a person who never checks your emails, you definitely dont want to do that if you hire Shawn or you may miss out on important things. That being said, I think thats how most lawyers in general prefer to correspond now days because there is always a constant record of attorney/client interaction and its easier for them to check back with clients questions or notify them updates on their case after hours or if they have a busy day were they have meetings or court dates to attend. Overall, if you want a smart, clever, experienced, and fair lawyer - Shawns the guy. Im very pleased with how he handled my custody case and the outcome that resulted. 5 stars!
