1 /5 Zak Shimon: If you want to over pay and receive sub par representation use this group for your divorce proceedings. I went with the intention of working with a specific lawyer and they handed me off after I paid the retainer, only to have to go over everything I paid the previous attorney to evaluate, and billed again of course. During mediation which Ben Schwartz billed me for 10 hours he spent the majority of time in his office working on other cases billing them as well. Had I not prepared and organized the data the outcome would have been very different. Zero urgency, my case was almost blown as a result of this. The lawyers will also review your case in front of you because there is no preparation or investment into you as a customer. All they care about is billing you for every cent of your retainer. You pay for them over and over to respond to the opposition without gaining one advantage for yourself. Look anywhere else…
