Christina Adcock: Allstate Insurance - Garland (TX)

1 /5 Sarah Perut: Ive been with them for several years, and they were fine until I needed something. Today I spent over an hour trying to rectify a few things. It seems like nobody is knowledgeable of the drivewise app. Ive been given the runaround and even sent an email to Christina Adcock herself. In addition, Im very frustrated as their office has given me very poor communication on discounts. Their customer service is sufficient until you actually need something. I understand people drop the ball as we are all human, but when you do it is professional to make it right and they are not doing that.

1 /5 Kimberly Dugger: I have never experience anything like what I am about to explain in my life. I have never been so disrespected by anyone in the insurance business like I was. I called in to make some changes to my policy because spouse and I are separating, I was explaining to Anna that I was going to Illinois for a little bit but was keeping my residency in Texas. She was supposed to run quotes and get back with me. A week went by and I still hadnt received a call just an email. I then called the office to make sure those changes were going to go through. I was then sent to Peggy, Peggy was super nice and I again explained my situation said I was going to Illinois for a little but but was keeping my Texas residency. She assured me that she was going to talk to Anna about what was going on. I then received an email from Anna saying that if I was going to be in illinois for more than 30 days, they couldnt/wont cover my car if it was registered to another state. I have no idea where these two people came up with I was registering my car in another state.....I just renewed my registration the day before. I tried to call back and I kept getting Anna and she immediately started talking over me, so yeah I started to raise my voice because at this point Im beyond frustrated. She proceeds to tell me that if Im going to raise my voice shes going to end the call and hangs up. I call back, get her again and asked to speak to someone else. She said if this is regarding the same issue that she would not transfer me and hangs up again. I call back one more time and tell her to cancel the policy, she said we dont cancel policies over the phone and hangs up again. I immediately got customer service on the phone and told them my situation and how this office handled it. The cutomer representatives were not at all happy by the way this office chose to speak to me....by the way my mom heard the whole conversation between Anna and myself. Anna was just plain rude and unprofessional in every way possible. I truly hope that people see this review and stay clear of this office because if you are in a stressful life changing situation, they will make it worse by taking your words out of context and creating their own version and then will hang up on you if you get a little upset and raise your voice because they arent listening. Please BEWARE!!!

1 /5 E. D.: I received a flyer from them in my postbox customized for my house with an estimated annual premium of 1,341 $. I gave them a call and spent 30 minutes with an agent and received a quote of 3,600 $. When I asked the agent about the estimate in the flyer, he said that is just an estimate and the actual quote can vary. While I understand there can be a variation from the estimate, that variation should be within a reasonable percentage, not three times of it.

1 /5 Brenda Thomas: I can never speak with my agent. She is always unavailable or out of the office. The only time I’ve spoken with her is when I actually purchased my homeowners insurance with Allstate. Never again. My personal opinion is this is very poor customer service.
