1 /5 LRuben: I do not recommend doing business with this insurance agency based on my experience. As a busy professional, I rely heavily on email communication due to my limited availability during the workday. Despite this, I was passed between at least five different representatives—including Patty, Esmeralda, Claudia, and Carlos—and not one of them was able to clearly answer my questions or provide the two quotes I repeatedly asked for. I specifically requested to work with Patty to avoid further confusion, but she never responded after our initial conversation. It is also worth noting all of the employees are related, which may contribute to the internal disorganization.
Although the agency claims to work with multiple providers, only two seemed to offer any real value. The other few companies this agency works with are exponentially higher with relatively the same coverage. Carlos informed me that "email is not their preferred method of conducting business", which makes it extremely difficult for anyone with a full-time job to work with them effectively. The entire experience was filled with miscommunication, unnecessary back-and-forth, and a lack of accountability.
Additionally, in the case of filing a claim, this is the type of communication and assistance you can expect from these individuals. Overall, the experience was marked by miscommunication, lack of responsiveness, and poor coordination.
In contrast, I found the insurance company SWYFFT to offer much more affordable and comprehensive coverage, and their representatives were responsive and communicated throughly through email.
For first-time buyers or anyone with a demanding schedule, I strongly recommend going directly through SWYFFTs, website rather than dealing with this agency. Alternatively, contact the insurance company directly through their website, which may allow you to access additional discounts not available when going through an agency like this.
