1 /5 Lauren McAteer: Buyer beware this firm is not responsive capable of providing accurate information to support clients. After being handed over when our initial broker left, we were never informed our of new contacts. The team was never interested in supporting our existing policies. When ultimately trying to cancel policies due to the total lack of service, Paul Broomell provided false and inaccurate information about how to do so. This caused several months of delays and (conveniently for them) further premiums on our end. He told us to contact his secretary who would assist. No response. When pressed he later gave us a 1-800 for Mass Mutual that routed to a broker line, not a customer line. When we finally got through to someone at Mass Mutual they told us the broker could have issued a stop payment for us on there end. Yet this never happened. Finally the corporate team was able to process our cancellation. I will never use Mass Mutual in the future and do not recommend UFinancial.
