1 /5 Denise Delhoyo: ⚠️ Warning to Small Business Owners: Avoid MCA MCA has taken advantage of my small business in a fraudulent and harmful way. I have proof that they withdrew payments from my checking account every two weeks, but instead of forwarding them as agreed, they only sent them once a month. This mishandling of funds directly caused two liens to be placed on my account and forced me to miss scheduled payments due to mishandling money taken out of my account. When I questioned this, Allison Finch (Account Negotiator) lied and claimed my payments had been returned or declined — which is completely false. My bank records clearly show every payment cleared, proving MCA simply failed to forward them on time. Despite repeatedly asking to speak with her, I never received a call back. I also reached out by phone call and cc by email Marcus Ward (Director of Negotiations) and Michael Shelby (Director of Operations), but was ignored every time. No accountability. When I asked about canceling, MCA told me I would have to pay 20% plus additional fees, and that it would take 30 days just to receive a breakdown. This is unreasonable, predatory, and designed to keep small businesses trapped. MCA is not only unprofessional but also exploitative preying on businesses that turn to them for help. I strongly caution any business owner to avoid this company. As for me, I will make sure it stops with me, but you will be exposed. If other small business owners have gone through similar experiences with MCA, I encourage you to share your story as well. Together, we can hold them accountable and ensure they are exposed. Please also consider filing complaints with the BBB, FTC, and your state attorney general so their predatory practices are formally investigated.

1 /5 Guisselle Martinez: I am extremely disappointed with MCA Advisors. I had a debt of $31,000, and they promised to settle it for $21,000. I trusted them and paid the full amount upfront. After almost a year, they informed me they couldnt settle my debt and instead negotiated a settlement for $32,000. I refused, and they claimed they incurred $5,000 in charges, offering me only $17,000 back. However, they sent me just $13,000, leaving $4,000 unreturned. In total, I feel that MCA has taken $8,000 from me. This experience has been incredibly frustrating.

1 /5 David May: MCA took advantage of me. They are cheats. Run from them. I had a contract signed by them, with a payment amount. They started deducting my payments but never came to an agreement with my debtor. So like they suggested I stopped paying my debtor and allowed them to deduct my contractual payment with MCA. After 2 months MCA finally emails me and says they cannot get my debtor to agree to terms so I need to pay more. The new payment was too high for me to afford thats why I needed help lowering the payment.... So I was called by David and he said since you cant afford that payment, we can cancell your contract and refund what you paid. That was 2 months ago. I finally get Ruby to talk to me and she emails me a statement saying I owe them money because I defaulted. How fair is that? I will be notifying BBB and filling a complaint and taking this up the chain. They took my payments and wasnt able to give me the help they promise me in writing.... Run dont walk from these cheats..... continue going through theses reviews like I should have and see I am not alone. Your response is inaccurate. Michael maybe you should call me to get the correct information from me. I have emailed proof that I sent Alley and David showing them I did not mislead the sales rep. I sent him my exact contract with my Lender. He then evaluated me debt and gave me in writing a payment schedule that was drafted from my account. My lender did agree with a lower amount but it became unaffordable because of the charges MCA adds to each payment.

My company paid MCA Debit Advisors $37,794.36 to be paid to our creditors; they paid only $11,995.21 to them. When we confronted MCA Debit Advisors Marcus said it was a mistake and that they will pay our creditors after going through our file. About a week later Marcus informed us that we only have $9,067.15 in our escrow account after taking out their fees of $16,732, including Earned Fees of $13,890.00. Get this, Marcus said he can’t wire the escrow balance of $9,067.15 to our creditors because our account has been closed. Several efforts to reach Marcus have failed, he refuses to even take calls from us. As of today, we still haven’t heard anything about our balance of $9,067.15. Please stay away from this company, make sure you read the agreement carefully to confirm how much Earned Fees they are taking from you. Also check with your creditors that MCA is sending your payments to them. My best advice is to deal with your creditors directly. 5/20/25 This is our reply to the comments from MCA.
