If you want to add a long term disability package for your employees, and you care whether a good employee will have coverage to survive a disability and can not work. Be sure to NOT use this one! I have dealt with the most horrible case managers who have made me work gathering information, medical records, and trying almost on a daily basis in the beginning just to get my case to pay and then to keep it open. Horrible experience when I am in so pain that I want to die. After 7 years I get a letter saying I must attend a occupation evaluation to remain getting benefits. It was run by a physical therapist with a computer and they calculate what your capabilities are in an hours time, then they say I am capable of working a full time job and your claim is closed, hours before I was supposed have my pay deposited. It is scandalous, because my MD Dr just upgraded the severity of my condition over a month ago, and SSDI review closed with continued benefits. This is just another battle to keep yourself able to pay rent and eat, and they have stopped payment anytime they want and with no notice.
