1 /5 Tyyra K: Called them to try to make an appointment few weeks ago, realized I simply wasn’t going to be able to speak to anyone so I was just going to call a different Geisinger location. A family member just went there for something and asked them about my situation with x rays , they said they do walk-ins until a certain time. Cool. So how is the person trying to receive the x-ray supposed to know that unless they walk in there and ask them? Just delete the phone number if you’re not going to answer it and are TELLING patients It’s basically useless to call? This is such a weird system.

5 /5 Leo Carr: I recently had a procedure done at the Pittston Endoscopy center. The care team were incredible! They were a great team and worked professionally to make my visit pleasant. I even received a signed card from all the employees. If I could give 10 stars I would.

4 /5 Dawn Geiger: Very good staff friendly eyewear staff great eye doctors alway right script. Only thing this might be me too but sometimes my glasses arent perfect so my great aunt readjust them because they were slightly loose but the optician said they were perfect but there fixed now perfect fit. So I dont think fitting is accurate when they adjust them but I feel more comfortable getting glasses here

1 /5 Kate ash: I wouldn’t recommend the eyeglass area. We had our appointments later in the day. Obviously the doctors were running behind and that is ok. My son and I had prescriptions for new glasses and since my appointment was last we were told we can go to the eyeglass store next door and pick them out of we chose. We did get there 10 minutes to closing and we just wanted to find a pair and leave. I started to enter our names and a man said “We are closing and the registers shut down “. I was surprised at his comments because all him and the other person were doing was sitting and talking. Then I just said we would come back. Then he tried to save face and say “are you Sure?” Well you kind of made it awkward to stay so I will take my business elsewhere.

5 /5 Linda Missal: I had my 1st. Colonoscopy today. I went to Geisinger on Oak St. I feel it’s important to stress I have what some would consider an irrational fear of going under anesthesia. Once I was in the back and it was time to get changed into my gown, I went into panic mode. I put all my clothes back on and waited for the nurse Haley to come back and let her know that I could not do this and I was leaving. I’m sure it would have been very easy to just let me walk out the doors. They were very busy and had a waiting room full of people, but they did not.. Haley took the time to talk me down and also went and got Chuck from anesthesiology to ease my mind as well. The staff was amazing and continued to check on me and make sure I was OK until it was time for my procedure, Which by the way was over before I knew it Thanks to Nick and Dr. Ravi. I don’t think they realize how much I appreciate what they did for me today. They are a great team.. I have to give one more shout out to Katie my recovery nurse you are a doll.Thank you again.
