1 /5 Donna Steffanci: They are very nice people but totally inept with managing money. When our financial advisor retired and sold his business to VIP we mistakenly thought we would be in good hands. We were talked into leaving the products we had and moving to new ones that were much better. We did not ask the correct questions and assumed he was advising us correctly. As a result we lost approximately 20% of our portfolios with no opportunity to recoup based on the guidelines of the new products without assuming unmanageable risk. We contacted our old advisor and he reluctantly shared that he never should have advised us to do that and he was getting numerous complaints from his old clients. So proceed with caution and insure you are thoroughly advised and do your homework.

Just as important, they know that I am not a money expert and are always willing to explain things in laymans terms as needed. When I began with them, I was looking for consistent service like this, as opposed to feeling like a small fish in a big pond - and they have been great.
