5 /5 Lydia Cole: Stacey is great! I retained her for a legal matter 3 years ago. I never write reviews, but I figured I would leave her one because I see that someone is leaving blatantly fake 1 star reviews. Those reviews are clearly made by one person who is opening multiple accounts to leave bad reviews out of spite which showcases the maturity level of that individual.
Im surprised Stacey doesnt have more reviews honestly because I know that the entire town has been using her services for years (no exaggeration) so I hope that my honest and detailed review will help you with your decision in choosing a lawyer.
I found Stacey through a friend of mine whose family has used her services for the past decades. Furthermore, I know that Stacey has done many cases for Saratogas more "well known"Ā families. I think it says something when those with large amounts of cash flow choose you to represent them as they could have quite literally anyone in New York State if they wanted to, but they choose you. Knowing that many have trusted Stacey, I wanted to see for myself.
As far as my experience ... for starters, one thing about Stacey I appreciate is that she focusesĀ her efforts on the case and not schmoozing clients. A lot of lawyers will put on a facade, tell you all good things, and not come through on those promises which I can tell you is the ultimate betrayal and not something you want to be put through. My family has experienced that in the past. Once they take your money, they change their tune. Their promises of fighting hard for you are suddenly gone which is shown by theirĀ lackadaisical actions surrounding your case and they turn into meek and quiet mice when they are in the courtroom with you. That is a nightmare. Stacey is the opposite, she is very blunt, right to the point and will tell you how it is. Some people arent used to someone being so blunt, but I can tell you that being told sweet nothings from money grabbing attorneys giving you false hope is not what you want when working with a limited budget and looking to hear the honest truth.
Another thing I would like to highlight is when I was seeking a lawyer, I wanted someone who was going to be tough on the opposition. Im not impressed by lawyers who keep their mouths shut in the courtroom and let the opposition run roughshod with their lies. I needed someone who wouldnt let that go unchecked. Stacey really took control of the courtroom. I was taken back. Quite honestly, all eyes were on her. She was extremely assertive, spoke up at every moment and really left an impression on every singleĀ person in the courtroom. Ill never forget it honestly.
Her personality was so interesting that every so often I find myself wondering what she is up to, as funny as that sounds!
I had a really successful experience with her when I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. Since she represented me in the legal matter, Ive contacted her at least twice when I needed a referral for matters that were not within her realm of speciality and she was there toĀ send me options sheĀ knew of.
If you want someone who isnt going to sugar coat things for you and waste your time and money ... Stacey is the attorney to seek.
