While at one of the lowest points of my life, I called countless attorneys in central New York. Most needed days or weeks to even give me a consultation then others wouldn’t even take my case. I called the Rapasadi law office and the team there was able to schedule me a consultation the same day! They were very accommodating and actually made it personal with me as a client. When I met Kathleen personally in her office, I was was more than just relieved. I remember walking out of their office 2 days before Christmas feeling very relieved and confident because the team there made it so easy get the process started as well as giving me insight on what to expect. Communication was great and everything was explained to me in simple terms that I could understand. During the divorce process, an unexpected issue in a different court appeared. Jessie was able to explain to me the severity of the allegations and Kathy was there in court next to me with just a couple days notice. I felt confident and composed throughout the entire entire process of the unexpected issue as well as the divorce. The unexpected issue was resolved in my favor promptly with lots of communication. Even with the COVID situation, the team was able to get done what needed to be done and provided excellent communication and transparency throughout the entire process. Now that the divorce is over and I can rebuild my life, I want to personally thank Kathleen, Jessie and their entire team for helping me and being there In my corner for the entire process start to finish, during one of the worst points of my life! Ronald McKnight If you’ve had this office represent you and you loved there service then this isn’t the review to read. This law office didn’t investigate my case properly back in 2019 and he actually even went a step further, he flat out told me he didn’t have time to investigate because he was working on a higher profile case and proceeded to tell me intimate details about the case. Let me start off by saying everyone says they are innocent but I’ve actually got proof of my innocence and I even showed it to him, to which he responded, “what am I supposed to do with this information? I told you I don’t have time to investigate.” Now back to what I was saying, I grew up in foster care and after I turned 18, I was packed up and dropped off at a local community college I was attending and basically told have a good life. I had no idea nor any knowledge about law. I say all that because if I truly understood what I was signing and agreeing to, I’d have never signed the plea deal and went through the court proceeding. Honestly if he investigated like he was asked to do I wouldn’t even have to sign a plea deal because the charges would’ve been dropped or dismissed. I’m still waiting to hear back on my appeal, which I’m starting to feel was never filed. All due respect to the deceased but the man screamed at me and forced me to sign a plea deal right before sentencing and when I told him I didn’t want to sign it, he lost it and screamed “sign the damn paper!! I don’t care about any motions you’ve filed” and after I signed it he goes “sorry it’s Monday and I’m stressed.” I’m sorry but that’s not good legal representation at all and my case actually has holes in it enough to be won if properly handled by a competent attorney. I am not blaming him for me being in the situation I am in but more so calling out his neglect to do his civic duty for me as his client. I have to live with a negative social stigma that if i’m being honest, I’m very undeserving of and it has literally made my life impossible
