5 /5 Gary Langton: Despite a rocky start with MHVFCU where my customer service experience was less than stellar, Theresa Higgins took charge of the customer service issue to go above and beyond to resolve my issue. She went out of her way to stay with me while I confirmed my problem was resolved and even later followed up with me by calling me to ensure I hadnt experienced any further issues. Theresa is a credit union superstar who I give an A++ for customer service in this impersonal world of AI bots and AI-driven automated customer service engines that are more frustrating than intelligent! Kudos to Theresa and MHVFCU for their commitment to customer service.

1 /5 Nicole: I applied for a $720,000 construction loan, J. Depuy, with an appraised value of $670,000. MHVCU originally quoted $63,000 in closing costs, including fees and reserves. Two weeks later, they raised the reserve requirement to $248,000, and by the fourth week it was increased again to $289,000—amounting to nearly 60% of the loan. These sudden and excessive changes make it clear that MHVCU lacks the expertise to handle this type of loan.
