When the insurance company doctor decided that I was 50% disabled rather than 100%, I knew I needed assistance navigating the workers compensation world. Because workers comp is so intentionally convoluted and the insurance companies are all out to save themselves as much money as possible, I have leaned on The Disability Guys for support and to advocate for me. I’m in close touch with the team that manages my case. They are helpful and straightforward. My emails and calls are responded to typically the same day or next. They’ve provided me with lists of physicians that specialize in my injuries, which has put me in touch with a pretty solid support system of people that are on my “team,” so-to-speak. Navigating a new disability after spending years being fit and active has been a huge challenge, and I can’t imagine facing everything without my legal team at Markoff & Mittman. I feel so fortunate to have found them and would absolutely recommend getting in touch with them to anyone dealing with a disabling injury or accident.
